Job summary

ABB Smart Power in Senatobia, MS is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage a team, and ensure accurate receiving, storage and dispatch of goods in a on-site role.

You will optimize capacity, enforce safety standards, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive process improvements using SAP and MS Office. The role requires a High School Diploma and 4+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing production supervisory experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and time efficiency.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Optimize warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization; supervise daily warehouse and shipping operations.
  • Codify and prepare receipt/dispatch paperwork.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment and facilities and identify improvements.
  • Recommend measures to improve service quality and stock accuracy through periodic stock takes or cycle counts.
  • Lead and support team to ensure safety standards compliance.

You will also showcase your expertise by identifying process improvements, training team members, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.The work model for the role is on-site position based in Senatobia, MS.You will be assigned to Shift B - Monday to Thursday from 4 pm to 2 am.This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the United States.Key ResponsibilitiesOptimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization and supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations.Coding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork.Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.Recommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment; and ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.4+ years of manufacturing production supervisory experience required.Attention to detail, time efficiency, and utilization of manpower.Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.Knowledge and understanding of an ERP system, SAP highly preferred.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about usABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
