Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.You will be mainly accountable for:Ensuring that production scheduling and production plan meet the volume requirements agreed upon in the demand plan and defined inventory service levels.Recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance.Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.Qualifications for the role:Bachelor degree in technical field (preferred) PLUS minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience OR Associate degree PLUS 5 years related experience OR High School Diploma PLUS minimum 7 years of related experience.Experience in leading teams in a manufacturing or electrical environment, a plusPossess an enhanced knowledge of electrical equipment and the industry, preferredExperience with SAP, a plusThis position is primarily assigned to an off-shift; however, flexibility is required to temporarily train on and work other shiftsCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about usABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
