Job summary

ABB in Senatobia, MS, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team, ensure accurate receiving, storage and dispatch of products, and maintain inventory accuracy.

You will enforce safety standards, coordinate with other departments, and identify process improvements. Candidates should have a High School diploma and 4+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing; SAP experience is highly preferred.

This position reports to: Warehouse Manager

In this role you will have the opportunity to oversee warehouse operations, managing a team of employees who receive, handle, store and dispatch products, systems and services to customers. Each day, you will lead and support your team to ensure efficient warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, enforce safety standards, and coordinate the timely receipt and dispatch of goods. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying process improvements, training team members, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The work model for the role is on-site position based in Senatobia, MS.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimizing warehouse capacity, inventory, and floor utilization and supervising and assisting in daily warehouse and shipping operations.
  • Coding and preparing proper receipt/dispatch paperwork.
  • Ensuring maintenance of equipment and facilities and identifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary.
  • Recommending measures to improve service quality, increase departmental efficiency, and boost the performance of work crews and equipment; and ensuring stock accuracy by conducting periodic stock takes and/or cycle counting.
