Job summary

UPS in Florida seeks a supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train and develop workgroups, and uphold safety, productivity, accuracy, and attendance. This role requires strong leadership across all levels and a commitment to delivering high standards in a fast-paced warehouse.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, management experience preferred, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift 70 lbs.
Experience in supervisory or leadership role preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise Package Handlers and train, develop, and hold workgroups accountable for safety, production and attendance.
Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and OSHA requirements while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
Foster a positive, team-oriented environment with proactive communication and cross-department collaboration.
Implement personal development plans to support continuing professional growth.
Provide orientation, skills and safety training, and regular evaluations to department staff.
