Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to lead Package Handlers, drive safety and productivity, and ensure attendance and quality across shifts. The role requires strong communication and a commitment to OSHA standards within a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The candidate will manage resources, foster teamwork, and implement development plans while coaching staff to achieve continuous improvement and higher performance levels.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred: Management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Package Handlers and trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production and attendance.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures, keeping OSHA requirements in full compliance.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
• Establishes a positive, team-oriented environment with proactive communication and cross-department cooperation.
• Implements employee development plans and ensures ongoing coaching and evaluations.
• Provides orientation and training materials to support continued development of department personnel.
