Job summary

OnTrac in Phoenix is seeking a Trailer/Dock Associate for Sunday-Thursday, 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at 7400 W Buckeye Rd. You will maintain safety, perform pre-trip inspections, and position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.

Required: a high school diploma or GED (or 1 year related experience), 18+ years old with a clean driving record and ability to pass screenings including TSA. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both
• Minimum 1-year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery
• Must successfully complete all pre-employment screenings and background checks
• Must be at least 18 years old, possess a clean driving record, valid identification and be able to pass a TSA screening
• Must be able to provide a 5-year to 10-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment as outlined in the Company Safety Program
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT compliance standards
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor
• Switch trailers as needed during the daily sort; hook up sets of trailers for line hauls leaving the facility
• Clearly communicate trailer moves and numbers with operations management

Pay: $26.50 per hour.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday from 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the business.
