Job summary

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Hostler / Yard Driver at our Desoto, TX facility. You will safely position and maneuver trailers to and from the dock, working closely with the yard team and Operations Management.

This role requires at least 1 year of driving experience, a clean MVR, and a high school diploma or GED. The shift runs Thursday to Saturday from 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime as needed and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment per the Company Safety Program.
• Pre-trip and inspect each trailer to meet DOT compliance standards.
• Position trailers on the dock using a yard switcher tractor.
• Switch trailers as needed during the daily sort and hook up sets for line hauls.
• Communicate trailer moves and numbers clearly with operations management.

OnTrac is hiring a Warehouse Hostler / Yard Driver !

OnTrac Hostlers are responsible for safely positioning and maneuvering trailers to and from the dock. This position works closely with the yard team and Operations Management.

Location: 802 East Centre Park Blvd, Desoto, TX 75115

Pay: $25 per hour

Shift: Thursday - Saturday from 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Hours are subject to change based on the needs of the business.

The Must-Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both
• Minimum 1-year driving experience, preferably with trailers or towed machinery
