Job summary

Nellis Auction in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a General Manager (Warehouse) to lead and optimize warehouse operations, staff recruitment and training, and implement efficient systems for inventory and labor management.

The role requires strong customer service orientation, leadership, and the ability to work in a high-energy environment, with a focus on safety and productivity across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred.
• 5+ years experience as a Manager - Preferred.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Proven communication and time management skills.
• Ability to be on your feet all day and work in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to lift and move hundreds of items daily ranging from 10lb-50lb.
• Requires a high level of physical activity.
• Being bilingual is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility staffing initiatives by guiding the ops managers through the recruiting, hiring, and training of team members.
• Set directions and goals for the operations of the warehouse with strategic planning; create action plans; improve productivity, quality control, and customer service standards; troubleshoot issues.
• Work with the Leadership team to prepare annual budgets, facility targets, and process improvement initiatives.
• Develop operating systems by determining product handling procedures, storage requirements, and shipping/ receiving processes.
• Continue to improve job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, networking events, and staying current with related professional publications.
• Manage all department managers, team leads, and team members - compensation, hours, schedules, absences, etc.
• Communicate all operating policies and/ or issues to appropriate managers and team members.
• Gather and review data to communicate opportunities to the leadership team.
