Job summary

TBC Corporation is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our Distribution Center in Durham, NC. The role focuses on efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders and receipt of replenishment stock using RF technology and MHE.

Ideal candidates have forklift certification and RF scanner experience, with a safety-first mindset and prior DC or material handling experience. 18+ with a valid driver's license; training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Safety 1st mentality.
• Prior distribution center experience preferred.
• Prior material handling equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put-away product utilizing RF technology.
• Inspect inbound for OSD (overages and shortages).
• Pick and stage product.
• Load truck(s).
• Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
• Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
• Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager.
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
