Job summary

TBC Corporation is hiring for a Distribution Center Associate in Durham, NC. The role entails operating MHE safely, handling product with RF technology, unloading and putting away stock, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment to support DC profitability.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, a valid driver's license, and 18+ years of age. Experience in a distribution center is preferred and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners preferred.
• Safety-first mentality required.
• Prior distribution center experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products.
• Unload and put-away product utilizing RF (radio frequency) technology.
• Inspect inbound for OSD (overages and shortages).
• Pick and stage product.
• Load truck(s).
• Maintain organization of product in the warehouse.
• Assist center to optimize operations and customer service to achieve business plan and DC profitability.
• Participate in cycle count or physical inventory process as required.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist in the overall sanitation of the DC.
• Complete MHE reports as required by company policy and OSHA regulations.
• Perform any other tasks as defined by Supervisor or Center Manager.
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
