Job summary

Capital Electric in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Receiving Associate to accurately receive and stock materials, scan items with RF scanners, and prepare products for order fulfillment. The role involves moving freight, loading/unloading trailers, and potential cross-training in multiple warehouse areas.

The candidate will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, perform precise counts, and maintain safety and quality standards while supporting a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating a sit-down, stand-up or cherry picker forklift.
• Detail oriented and precise in handling materials.
• Strong mathematical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Reliable, responsible, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Organize and transport freight on the dock, loading/unloading trailers without damage.
• Receive large boxes on warehouse dock and process via RF scanner.
• Break down cases and replenish warehouse stock using heavy equipment.
• Scan and totes pallet for put away and inventory accuracy.
• Operate material handling equipment as required by the job.
