Job summary

Southeastern Container, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move materials within production, warehouse, and shipping areas. The role supports inventory control, production flow, and on-time shipments in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 18+ years of age, US work eligibility, and successful completion of powered industrial truck training. Work hours include 12-hour rotating shifts, with additional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to complete powered industrial truck training and certification.
• Ability to read, understand and follow safety instructions, shipping docs, and labels.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and move materials between production, warehouse and shipping areas.
• Verify product identification and load accuracy prior to shipment.
• Complete shipping documents and scan inventory transactions.
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and report discrepancies to supervision.
