Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator I in the United States. The role involves safely operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks for receiving, storing, and fulfilling orders. You will maintain product integrity, perform daily equipment checks, and ensure accurate inventory and cycle counts.

The position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication. Weekdays, day shift, with competitive pay and benefits; OSHA rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment (electric pallet jack, stand-up/sit-down forklift).
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail and coordination; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors.
• Safely loading, transporting, and stacking materials using forklifts.
• Sorting and building products to pallets per customer expectations.
• Using machinery to apply shrink wrap to pallets.
• Quality control to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Performing daily equipment inspections and inventory maintenance.
