Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Jacksonville, Florida.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

1. Hourly Pay: $17.00 per hour
2. Schedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Products Being Handled include management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc.

Equipment used: stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a clean driving record, personal vehicle, and be able to travel within the area approximately 25-50% of the day
• Strong technical aptitude including using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, scanners, and entering orders into a WMS system
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Must be able to work indoors and outside

Additional Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adherence to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handling warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours
• Performing other duties as assigned
