Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in Port Reading, NJ.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $2.00 Per Hour for 2nd Shift
• Schedule: 2nd Shift; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator's License (certified)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and create professional relationships at all levels
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
• High level of initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Work safely following health and safety protocols
• Flexible schedule availability for various shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Manage warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
