PeopleShare by PROMAN in Pennsylvania is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator for a local beverage packaging plant. The role centers on efficiently picking, packing, and loading customer orders for shipment, with a Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm schedule and a pay rate of $21.50 per hour.

This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures. Safe operations, ERP proficiency, and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years forklift experience in warehouse.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Team oriented and collaborative in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment experience.
• Strong communication across all levels.
• English reading and writing proficiency.
• Occasional overtime flexibility.

Responsabilités

• Efficiently pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Verify picked orders against packing orders to ensure correctness before shipment.
• Efficiently work within ERP system and procedures.
• Safely load trucks with outgoing shipments, securing the freight.
• Ensure all required shipping documentation is completed and accompanies the shipment.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the warehouse and dock area.
• Organize and store materials appropriately to optimize space and accessibility.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Wear PPE and adhere to safety policies.
• Fill in inbound receiving as needed, assisting with unloading trucks and receiving materials.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate Shipping Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently preparing, picking, and loading customer orders for shipment.

*This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and varying temperatures.

Major Job Functions

1. Efficiently pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
2. Verify picked orders against packing orders to ensure correctness before shipment.
3. Efficiently work within ERP system and procedures
4. Safely load trucks with outgoing shipments, securing the freight to prevent damage during transport.
5. Ensure all required shipping documentation is completed and accompanies the shipment.
6. Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the warehouse and dock area.
7. Organize and store materials appropriately within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility.
8. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
9. Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
10. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to company safety policies.
11. Fill in within the inbound receiving department as needed, assisting with unloading trucks and receiving materials in.

Required Skills/Abilities/Education

1. 3 years + of experience operating forklift within a warehouse environment
2. Experience of working within ERP systems
3. Ability to work well within a team environment
4. Ability to work under minimal to no supervision
5. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
6. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with individuals across all levels of the organization
7. Must be able to read and write English
8. Ability to work occasional Overtime as needed
