Job summary

Pelton Shepherd Industries in Streamwood, IL is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support daily inventory control and warehouse operations in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

You will coordinate shipping/receiving, maintain accurate inventory, perform cycle counts, and ensure on-time outbound shipments, while following GMPs and SOPs. Experience with WMS/ERP systems and handheld scanners is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

• Knowledge of and ability to comply with applicable safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily shipping/receiving operations and inventory control activities.
• Move, store, and stage materials and finished goods based on production and shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain accurate inventory locations and transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits, reconcile variances, and adjust records as appropriate.
• Prepare, stage, and verify outbound shipments (LTL/UPS/rail/road) to ensure accuracy and on-time performance.
• Receive inbound materials: unload, inspect, verify documentation/quantities, complete shipping/receiving logs and QC sheets, and store product in assigned locations.
• Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is complete and properly routed (packing lists, bills of lading, freight logs, etc.).
• Keep warehouse areas organized, clean, and audit-ready (including routine sweeping and general housekeeping).
