Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in a warehouse or production environment with exposure to chemicals and drumming.
• Lead or informal leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and SOPs.
• Proficiency with WMS and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse tasks, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
• Provide day-to-day direction to team members to ensure efficient and accurate work.
• Serve as on-floor point of contact when Supervisors are absent.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new employees and coach current staff.
• Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet daily goals.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Utilize WMS and handheld scanners to track inventory and orders.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
• Identify operational issues and communicate them to leadership.
• Assist in process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Check equipment operation and report maintenance needs.
• Resolve minor employee concerns; escalate complex issues.
