The position emphasizes safety sensitivity and requires pre-employment drug testing. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm, with responsibilities spanning coaching, performance management and daily operations on site.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff, and warehouse personnel.
• Ability to understand equipment and tolerances from past experience.
• Warehouse experience with forklift, packing and measuring.
• Demonstrated leadership and team building skills – even if from an unrelated business or non-business organization.
• Safety mindset.

Aufgaben

• Meet production and distribution objectives within the established budget.
• Teach, coach and demonstrate work activities for team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary functions.
• Coordinate, assign, and review work.
• Direct staff on priority of work to be accomplished.
• Ensure all team members receive required instruction in safety procedures, proper use of equipment, performance standards and policies.
• Maintain timely, effective, and professional communications with customers and suppliers.
• Report accidents or incidents to the Operations Manager within 24 hours.
• Monitor working conditions regularly to ensure safety of all team members; take timely corrective action.
• Apply problem solving techniques to resolve personnel and quality issues.
• Work on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
