Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials NA is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead I to manage and coordinate activities in the assigned work area, provide on-the-job training, and maintain safety and quality standards on the floor.

This on-site role requires strong supervision, organization, and the ability to work across day, evening and night shifts, with interaction with customers and internal teams to meet requirements and ensure accuracy of paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Strong leadership and multi-tasking ability.
• Ability to manage a team of up to 15 people.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work days, afternoons, nights, overtime and weekend shifts.
• Reliable attendance is an essential part of this position.
• Experience in automotive or industrial setting is a plus; training provided.
• Comfort with scanners/tablets for data keeping and time entries.
• Customer/vendor interactions.
• Basic English reading/writing.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inspection processes for the assigned tables and products.
• Lead by example, maintain organization and housekeeping in all areas.
• Ensure safe work practices per health and safety policies.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
• Coordinate shift start activities and ensure tools and materials are available.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions.
• Be accountable for personnel assigned to specific jobs.
