Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Warehouse Floor Technician to perform floor cleaning and restoration tasks in a fast-paced facility environment. This full-time role involves operating janitorial equipment, following safety guidelines, and maintaining clean floors and carpeted areas across assigned areas.

The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 49 pounds, and reading safety documents.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 15–25 pounds and totes up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout as assigned.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Move large furniture or objects safely and follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized; follow manufacturers' chemical handling specs.
• Report safety hazards or needed repairs to supervisor.
