Job summary

Critical Peake Services is seeking a dependable Warehouse Helper to support daily warehouse and fleet operations. This role helps manage materials, tools, and vehicles, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and timely support for field teams.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, with duties spanning inventory control, vehicle inspections, and basic tool management in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and materials used in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

• Check In and Label Materials.
• Verify that all materials are accurately labeled with the correct job number.
• Notify the appropriate Project Manager (PM) of all deliveries and quantities received.
• Material Handling and Logistics.
• Drop off and pick up materials as needed to support field operations.
• Return unused project materials to the warehouse and ensure proper documentation.
• Vehicle Inspections and Fleet Management.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, ensuring both interior and exterior cleanliness.
• Inspect for and report any damage or maintenance issues.
• Manage fleet service schedules, including oil changes, recall notices, tires, and other routine maintenance.
• Verify that all company vehicles have current tags and registration.
• Ensure GPS units are functioning properly on all company vehicles.
• Confirm that each vehicle contains up-to-date towing and insurance information.
• Maintain adequate truck stock in each vehicle.
• Tool and Equipment Management.
• Ensure all tools are checked in and returned to the tool cage after use.
• Obtain approval from Critical Peake leadership prior to purchasing any tools.
• Fleet Recordkeeping.
• Ensure that all vehicle sign-outs are properly recorded in the vehicle logbook.
• Other Duties.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
