Job summary

Critical Peake Services LLC in Maryland is seeking a Warehouse Support Technician to back daily warehouse and fleet operations. You will ensure materials, tools, and vehicles are tracked, labeled, and maintained to support field teams and projects.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to lift up to 50 lbs, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior warehouse or fleet experience is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance scheduling and recordkeeping; basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Check In and Label Materials.
• Verify materials labeled with the correct job number.
• Notify Project Manager of deliveries and quantities received.
• Material Handling and Logistics: drop off and pick up materials as needed.
• Return unused materials to the warehouse with proper documentation.
• Vehicle Inspections and Fleet Management: conduct inspections and manage maintenance schedules.
• Verify vehicles have current tags and registrations; ensure GPS units function.
• Maintain truck stock in each vehicle.
• Tool and Equipment Management: check in and return tools; obtain approval before purchasing tools.
• Fleet Recordkeeping: record all vehicle sign-outs in the logbook.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Purpose

The Warehouse Support Technician plays a vital role in supporting daily warehouse and fleet operations at Critical Peake. This position ensures materials, tools, and vehicles are properly managed, organized, and maintained to support field teams and ongoing projects. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to keeping operations running smoothly.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Check In and Label Materials
• Verify that all materials are accurately labeled with the correct job number.
• Notify the appropriate Project Manager (PM) of all deliveries and quantities received.
• Material Handling and Logistics
• Drop off and pick up materials as needed to support field operations.
• Return unused project materials to the warehouse and ensure proper documentation.
• Vehicle Inspections and Fleet Management
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections, ensuring both interior and exterior cleanliness.
• Inspect for and report any damage or maintenance issues.
• Manage fleet service schedules, including oil changes, recall notices, tires, and other routine maintenance.
• Verify that all company vehicles have current tags and registration.
• Ensure GPS units are functioning properly on all company vehicles.
• Confirm that each vehicle contains up-to-date towing and insurance information.
• Maintain adequate truck stock in each vehicle.
• Tool and Equipment Management
• Ensure all tools are checked in and returned to the tool cage after use.
• Obtain approval from Critical Peake leadership prior to purchasing any tools.
• Fleet Recordkeeping
• Ensure that all vehicle sign-outs are properly recorded in the vehicle logbook.
• Other Duties
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
