Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician in Taunton, MA to support maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements in a fast-paced environment.

You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and related systems, read work orders in CMMS, and ensure safe, reliable facilities operations. Strong diagnostic and communication skills required; PIT operation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of general maintenance, facilities, construction, or related trade experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring repairs, and carpentry.
• Experience safely operating hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, lighting, and pneumatic system issues.
• Read and complete work orders using a CMMS system.
• Maintain rack systems, dock doors, dock leveler plates, guardrails, tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety programs.
• Assist fellow technicians with equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading Consumer Retail Industry organization to hire an experienced Facilities Technician. If you're a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairs, and improving facility operations, this is your opportunity to make a daily impact in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Taunton, MA | Pay: $26-$30 | Sign-On Bonus: Receive a $500 sign-on bonus when you join our team! (Bonus will be paid according to company policy and is subject to applicable employment terms.)

Schedule(s)

• Days: Sun-Tues 5AM-5PM and Wed 5AM-11AM
• Days: Wed 11A-5P and Thur-Sat 5A-5P
• Nights: Sun-Tues 5P-5A and Wed 5P-11P
• Nights: Wed 11P-5A and Thur-Sat 5P-5A

What You'll Do

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial facilities maintenance experience

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Lift up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally
• Work in indoor/outdoor environments with varying temperatures, noise, dust, and uneven surfaces

Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
