Job summary

The Macomb Group in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a full-time Welder/Fabricator to join our Fire Fab division. You will cut, assemble, and weld components, operate crane and forklift, and help maintain quality and organization in the warehouse.

Qualifications

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in Fire Protection. We are looking for a full-time Welder/fabricatorteam member to join our fire fab division at our facility in Lawrenceville GA.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, threading, grooving pipe
• Crane and Forklift operations
• Packing orders
• Quality assurance
• Organization of products and materials
• Regular maintenance of warehouse upkeep

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Regularly lift up to 25lbs; occasionally up to 50lbs
• Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift
• Knowledge of pipe and fittings is a plus
• While industry experience is encouraged, it is not required in order to be successful in this role.
