Job summary

The Macomb Group in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a warehouse manager to lead daily warehouse operations, optimize processes, and oversee receiving, storage, and distribution activities.

You will mentor staff, enforce safety policies, and drive productivity through data-driven logistics improvements. This full-time role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a expanding regional distributor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Regularly lift up to 25lbs.
• Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift.
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus.
• Chauffeur's license is also a bonus.
• Some years of related warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all of a warehouse’s daily activities while working to maximize efficiency and minimize staff overtime
• Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing procedures and policies
• Analyze logistics data to increase productivity and aid in loss prevention
• Oversee receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
• Implement operational policies and procedures.
• Motivate, organize, and discipline staff
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Ensure safety of staff
• Possible use of Lift Truck to move materials
• Other duties as assigned

Work Setting

Grand Rapids, MI

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM
