Qualifications

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full‑time Welder/fabricator team member to join our fire fab division at our facility in Harleysville, PA.

• Welding experience, mig preferred

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of others, produce life safety systems
• Operating semi-automatic welding machine
• Crane and Forklift operations
• Mig hand welding repair
• Quality assurance
• Organization of products and materials
• Regular maintenance of welding station upkeep
• Work within a multitask setting while still meeting deadlines
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Welding experience, mig preferred
• Regularly lift up to 25lbs; occasionally up to 50lbs
• Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift
• Knowledge of pipe and fittings is a plus
• While industry experience is encouraged, it is not required in order to be successful in this role.
• Willing to train

Work Setting

Harleysville, PA

Monday - Friday, 7 AM-4 PM

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM-12 PM
