Job summary

The Macomb Group in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a full-time Welder/Fabricator to join our fire fab division. You will weld, fabricate, and assemble pipe systems in a warehouse setting with a focus on quality and safety.

This role requires MIG welding experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to train. Regular lifting and forklift operation may be required; there is ample opportunity to grow with a recognized leader in fire protection products.

Qualifications

• Welding experience, MIG preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Regularly lift up to 25lbs; occasionally up to 50lbs.
• Be able to walk, stand, or lift the entire shift.
• Knowledge of pipe and fittings is a plus.
• Industry experience not required; willingness to train.

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in Fire Protection. We are looking for a full-time Welder/fabricator team member to join our fire fab division at our facility in Lawrenceville GA.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, threading, grooving pipe

• Packing orders
• Quality assurance
• Organization of products and materials
• Regular maintenance of warehouse upkeep

Requirements

• Welding experience, mig preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
