Job summary

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver in Middleton, ID to stock, organize, and manage warehouse inventory, fulfill customer orders, and support daily shipping and receiving. This role includes backup non-CDL driving duties and requires the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate basic warehouse equipment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Have valid driver's license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or combination of work experience and education.
• Experience in a distribution, fulfillment or warehouse environment.
• Forklift Certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
• Able to pass drug screen, driving screening and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
• Assist customers on phone and in person which often involves order entry
• Pull and prepare customer orders for pick-up, UPS shipment or delivery.
• Load and unload the delivery trucks.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
• Assist with cycle counts and other forms of physical inventory verification as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Backup driver for non-regulated vehicle
• Ability to lift-handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously through workday.
• Ability to stay in motion much of the workday often in areas that are not climate controlled.
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
