SPI in Louisville, KY is hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse to deliver and unload finished products to customer locations, assist in the warehouse, and operate a local CMV. The role requires reading/writing English and navigation software usage; shift starts 5:30–7:00 am with 50% warehouse duties.

Excellent customer service is essential as drivers are ambassadors of the company. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required for company vehicle operation.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001–26,000 lbs).
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to customer locations.
• Assist in the Warehouse to receive, store and distribute inventory.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Lift up to 50 lbs during loading/unloading of trucks.
• Provide excellent customer service as company ambassadors.
• Read, write and understand English; use navigation software.
• Shift starts between 5:30 am and 7:00 am; assist in the warehouse 50% of the time.

THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

Travel Requirements

Eighty percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation

Compensation Range $13.00 - $30.00 To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
