SPI - Specialty Products & Insulation is hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse to deliver and unload finished products and assist in warehousing. The role requires local driving, reading and speaking English, and a shift start between 5:30 am and 7:00 am with ~80% cab work and 50% warehouse duties.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, customer service, and the ability to handle up to 50 lbs, with equal emphasis on loading/unloading and delivering to customer locations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001–26,000 lb).
• Able to read/write English and operate navigation software.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Assist in the warehouse about 50% of the time with receiving and distributing inventory.
• Load/unload trucks and ensure accurate delivery to customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Follow shift times starting between 5:30 am and 7:00 am and maintain safety duties.
• Read, write, and understand English; use navigation software as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Your Responsibilities

Currently hiring a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse to deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to our customer locations. Assist in the Warehouse as needed to receive, store and distribute inventory.

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.
• Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.
• Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.
• Assist in the warehouse 50% of the time.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle).
• Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Travel Requirements

Eighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range

$13.00 - $30.00
