Job summary

Specialty Products and Insulation (SPI) is seeking a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse to deliver and unload finished products and assist in the warehouse as needed. The role operates a 26 ft box truck locally and requires good customer service, English literacy, and navigation software usage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001–26,000 lbs vehicle).

• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload finished products, parts and materials to customer locations and assist in warehouse as needed (20%).
• Safely operate a 26 ft box truck locally.

• Shift starts between 5:30 am and 7:00 am; perform other duties as assigned.

Assist in the Warehouse as needed to receive, store and distribute inventory.Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally. This will be a 26 ft box truck/moving van.Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.Your QualificationsMinimum of 18 years of age.If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle). 26 ft Box Truck.Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONTravel RequirementsEighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
