Job summary

Habitat Charlotte Region seeks a Full-Time Warehouse/Donations Assistant to support donations flow and stock on the sales floor, helping customers and donors with loading and unloading merchandise.

In this role you will keep the back room and donation dock organized, ensure safe handling of items, and assist with forklift operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to move and lift 50 lbs unassisted and 75 lbs with assistance.
• Customer service oriented and able to work with volunteers and donors.
• Willingness to obtain Forklift Certification and operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in unloading donations and loading purchases.
• Keep back room and donation dock organized by moving merchandise to and from the sales floor.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of merchandise for customers and Restore trucks.
• Inform customers of donations acceptance policy; refer donors to alternatives for items not accepted.
