Job summary

Alta Equipment Group in the Chicago area is seeking a highly motivated Product Specialist for our Allied (Non-Mobile) product line to support the Chicago Land territory. This role drives growth, provides product expertise, and partners with account managers to execute strategic initiatives.

Regular travel (about 75%) to customer sites and region opportunities is required. You will leverage knowledge of warehouse solutions and racking systems to tailor recommendations and advance revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, sales, or a technical role within industrial/allied equipment.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and project lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel approx. 75% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Act as the product expert and champion for Allied (Non-Mobile) solutions within the region.
• Partner with account managers to develop and execute tailored sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products, including warehouse solutions and racking systems.
• Lead and coordinate product-related projects from concept to execution.
• Collaborate with marketing, procurement, and technical support to drive project success.
• Train internal teams and external customers and relay market feedback to inform product development.
