Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a motivated Product Specialist for the Allied (Non-Mobile) line to support the Chicago Land territory. You will work with account managers to drive sales, share product expertise, manage projects, and ensure successful execution of initiatives.

Regular travel (~75%) is required to engage customers, visit sites, and grow region. You will leverage knowledge of warehouse solutions and racking systems to provide effective product recommendations and drive go-to-market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years in product management, sales, or technical role in industrial/allied equipment space.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and project lifecycle management.
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders across teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel ~75% within region.
• Working knowledge of warehouse solutions and racking systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as product expert for Allied (Non-Mobile) solutions in the region.
• Collaborate with account managers to develop sales strategies and target revenue.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities in warehouse solutions and racking systems.
• Lead product-related projects from concept to execution with cross-functional teams.
• Provide product training and ongoing support to internal and external customers.
• Relay market feedback to inform product development and adjustments.
• Utilize warehouse layout knowledge to propose optimal solutions.
