Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a highly motivated Product Specialist for the Allied (Non-Mobile) line to drive growth in the Chicago Land region. You will work with account managers to expand revenue, provide product expertise, manage projects, and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product management, sales, or a technical role within industrial/allied equipment space.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and project lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the assigned region (~75%).
• Knowledge of warehouse solutions and racking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the product expert and champion for Allied (Non-Mobile) solutions within the region.
• Partner with account managers to develop and execute tailored sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell relevant products, including warehouse solutions and racking systems.
• Lead and coordinate product-related projects from concept to execution with cross-functional teams.
• Train and support internal teams and external customers; relay market feedback to product development.
• Travel regularly (approximately 75%) to support customer engagements and regional growth initiatives.
