Reports to: Store Manager

The Warehouse Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient delivery operations and maintaining the upkeep of the delivery truck. Responsibilities include assisting with warehouse tasks, safe driving to deliver merchandise to customers' homes, and conducting regular truck inspections.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and report discrepancies.
• Delivery Operations: Drive delivery truck, deliver merchandise, assemble furniture, and ensure efficient service.
• Truck Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections, report issues, and maintain the vehicle.
• Warehouse Support: Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and assist with inventory and merchandise pickups.
• Customer Service: Maintain professionalism, complete paperwork accurately, and obtain customer signatures.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate honesty, dependability, and professionalism.
• Communicate effectively and manage time well.
• Perform duties for absent personnel and assist with store inventories as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient in reading delivery paperwork and understanding safety regulations.
• Able to work under pressure and keep work area organized.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands regularly.
• Reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Lift at least 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with proper technique.
• Visually inspect merchandise and documents.

The manager may add or change duties as needed.
