Delivery Driver/Warehouse- Forty Fort, PA

Overview

The Delivery Driver / Warehouse team member drives over an established route(s) to deliver products and/or picks up returned merchandise from customers. Additionally, this position fulfills all shipping and receiving functions within the Branch.

Responsibilities

• Uses vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
• Create and maintain records as needed.
• Dispatch, confirm customer orders, and generate delivery manifests and receiving documents.
• Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, by part and quantity.
• Ensure customer orders are located, picked up, and signed for.
• Collect funds from customers if needed and maintain all necessary documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Skills

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Drive safely, adhering to all safety standards.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Proficient in basic math skills.
• Use computer and handheld RF devices effectively.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Meet all state-specific driver’s license requirements for delivery duties.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and listen. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally sit, climb, or balance. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close and distance vision.

Work Environment

Exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. The noise level is generally high.

Salary Range

USD $12.75 - USD $14.75 per hour.
