The Warehouse Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient delivery operations and maintaining the upkeep of the delivery truck. Responsibilities include assisting with warehouse tasks, safe driving to deliver merchandise to customers' homes, and conducting regular truck inspections.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Safely load/unload trucks, assist with receiving and stocking, ensure accuracy, and report discrepancies.
• Delivery Operations: Drive delivery truck, deliver merchandise, unload, assemble furniture, and familiarize with merchandise for efficient service.
• Truck Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip inspections, ensure proper fueling, cleaning, and maintenance, and report issues.
• Warehouse Support: Maintain a clean and safe warehouse, pick up merchandise, and ensure paperwork accuracy.
• Customer Service: Maintain professionalism, complete paperwork, obtain signatures, and handle CODs.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrate honesty, dependability, and professionalism.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Perform duties for absent personnel.
• Assist in store inventories as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to work independently.
• Proficient in reading delivery paperwork and safety regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and keep work area organized.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands regularly.
• Reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Lift minimum 50 pounds regularly, up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Visual inspection of merchandise and documents.

The manager may adjust duties as needed.
