Job description

Position Overview:

This Warehouse Delivery Driver/Inventory Management Rep is responsible for setting and maintaining our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Programs, also known as CPS Programs, at our customers' facilities. The Inventory Management Representative (IMR) delivers and arranges products, maintains a clean and organized CPS Program, including racks, bins, signage, etc., and provides excellent customer service while supporting the customer on-site. The delivery route includes traveling to and from Worcester and/or Boston.

Pay:

$21/hr

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Scan and stock inventory at the customer's location, fill bins, and maintain proper inventory levels with minimal excess.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues related to C-Parts Solutions (CPS) business.
• Build and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Transport products to customers.
• Place orders to replenish inventory.
• Deliver products accurately and completely, and organize inventory per requirements.
• Address customer concerns on-site and communicate issues internally.
• Identify additional products Wurth can supply and forward leads.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and CPS racks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Follow all fleet policies and safety procedures, reporting hazards and maintaining safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience with VMI programs, customer service, driving, or similar roles is a plus.
• Valid driver's license, current DOT Medical Certificate (or ability to obtain), clean driving record, and at least 21 years old.
• Ability to build positive customer relationships and respond promptly to needs.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to interpret documents and perform basic math accurately.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., and work on concrete surfaces for 8-10 hours daily.
• Ability to work in various conditions, including seasonal weather.
• Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
