Job description

As a Warehouse-Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for receiving and placing inventory into stock, picking and packing orders for delivery, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and/or pickup of goods to specified locations, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, warehouse housekeeping, and inventory control.

Primary Duties:

1. Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
2. Familiarize yourself with delivery routes and customer preferences.
3. Perform warehouse duties as needed, including materials handling, shipping and receiving, and order picking and packing.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED; or six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current medical certification card or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Physical Demands:

Often required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and stoop. Occasionally sit, talk, and hear. Hands and fingers are frequently used.

Lifting and Carrying:

• Continuous lifting of 1-20 lbs.
• Frequent lifting of 21-50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting of 51-100 lbs., with assistance or mechanical aid recommended.

Vision requirements for driving include:

• Close vision (at 20 inches or less)
• Distance vision (at 20 feet or more)
• Peripheral vision
• Depth perception

Pay: The hourly rate is expected to be $19.00 - $20.50.
