Job description

As a Warehouse-Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for receiving and placing inventory into stock, picking and packing orders for delivery, ensuring timely and accurate delivery and/or pickup of goods to specified locations, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, maintaining warehouse housekeeping, and managing inventory control.

Primary Duties:

1. Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
2. Familiarize yourself with delivery routes and customer preferences.
3. Perform warehouse duties as needed, including materials handling, shipping and receiving, and order picking and packing.

Qualifications:

1. Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
2. High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including six months of related experience or training.
3. Current medical certification card or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

Physical Demands:

Regularly standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping. Occasionally sitting, talking, and hearing. Frequent use of hands and fingers.

Lifting and carrying requirements:

• Continuous lifting and carrying 1-20 lbs.
• Frequent lifting and carrying 21-50 lbs.
• Occasional lifting and carrying 51-100 lbs., with assistance as needed.

Vision requirements for driving include:

• Close vision (within 20 inches)
• Distance vision (20 feet or more)
• Peripheral vision
• Depth perception
