Position Overview:
This Warehouse Delivery Driver/Inventory Management Rep is responsible for setting and maintaining our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Programs, also known as CPS Programs, at our customers' facilities. The Inventory Management Representative (IMR) delivers and puts away products, maintains a clean and organized CPS Program including racks, bins, signage, etc., and provides high-level customer service while supporting the customer at their facility. Delivery routes include traveling to and from Worcester and/or Boston.
Pay:
$21/hr
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Scan and stock inventory at the customer's location, fill bins on site, and maintain proper inventory levels with minimal excess.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues related to C-Parts Solutions (CPS) business.
- Build and sustain professional, positive customer relationships.
- Transport products to customers.
- Place orders to replenish customer inventory.
- Deliver products accurately and completely, and organize inventory per customer and company standards.
- Address customer concerns onsite and communicate issues to internal departments.
- Identify additional products Wurth can supply and forward leads accordingly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of onsite work areas, racks, and bins.
- Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvements.
- Follow all Fleet Policies and Procedures.
- Improve productivity and operational efficiency continuously.
- Adhere to safety protocols, report hazards, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Experience with VMI programs, customer service, or driving is a plus.
- Valid driver's license, current DOT Medical Certificate (or ability to obtain), clean driving record, and at least 21 years old.
- Strong relationship-building skills and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Adaptability and teamwork capability.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interpret documents and instructions quickly.
- Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Forklift certification (training provided if needed).
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs., work on concrete floors, and endure varying weather conditions.
- Ability to understand and apply written and oral instructions and solve problems.
