Job summary

Hawkins, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse & Delivery Associate to join our water treatment team. The role supports branch operations, handles warehouse duties, and may perform some deliveries while assisting Technical Route Sales Representatives.

People learn a lot on the job through paid training and safety procedures. The shift runs 7:00am-5:00pm with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklift; training provided.
• Ability to obtain Class B CDL with hazmat/tanker/airbrakes endorsements; training provided.
• Basic computer skills and data entry for inventory using our JDE system.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all warehouse duties and procedures including pick, pack, prepare and ship all orders according to DOT requirements.
• Load and unload product by truck; inspect and fill chemical containers.
• Perform inspections and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform product rotation, cycle counts, and physical inventory counts; help resolve discrepancies.
• May provide back-up support to the sales team, including driving a truck and delivering product.
• Follow safety procedures and operate equipment including forklift and pallet jack; comply with regulations.
