Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Custodian to support our distribution center operations in Houston. You will help keep buildings clean and organized, performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, trash removal, and landscaping, while working in a wide range of temperatures from -25F to 100F.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided. A drug test and background check are required and you must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Pay: Starting at $18.60/hour

• Monday - Friday work week, with Saturdays and Sundays off
• 1st Shift -9:00 AM- 6:00 PM

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a custodian, you'll support our team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations. You will alsosweep, mop, scrub,vacuum, emptythetrash,clear snow, and maintain the landscaping. You canexpect to work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F) in the distribution center.There's no experience required - we'll train you how to get the job done!

Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions(-25F to 100F) is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
