Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Kenosha is hiring a Warehouse Custodian for the 2nd shift. You will help maintain clean, organized distribution center operations, sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and handle snow removal in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F). No experience required—training provided.

Starting pay is $20.52 per hour, including a $1.00 shift premium, plus monthly incentives. Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 pm to 2:00 am.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Industrial janitorial experience required.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F).
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.

Role Overview

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a custodian, you'll support our team by maintaining the buildings to ensure clean, organized operations. You will also sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, empty the trash, clear snow, and other tasks as assigned. You can expect to work in extreme temperatures (-25F to 100F) in the distribution center. There’s no experience required - we'll train you how to get the job done!

Pay

Starting at $20.52/hour (includes a $1.00 2nd shift premium) Plus, monthly performance incentives.

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday 6:00 pm - 2:00 am

Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Industrial janitorial experience required.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• You have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
