Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Shepherdsville, KY is hiring a Warehouse Order Picker & Package Handler. You will be on your feet, lift up to 100 pounds, and follow detailed pick lists and scan systems.

No experience required; we train you. Earn two pay raises in your first year, with first/second shift pay, and enjoy Day 1 benefits, weekly pay, and growth opportunities in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• We have frozen products - ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse picking and packing tasks with accuracy.
• Lift up to 100 pounds and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Operate location scanners and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Warehouse Order Picker & Package Handler

Distribution Center Address:342 Gordon Industrial Ave., Shepherdsville, KY

Pay: Earn two pay raises in your first year and earn more per hour for speed and efficiency.

Selection

• 1st Shift: $20.90/hour
• 2nd Shift: $21.90/hour (includes $1.00 shift premium)

Shipping

• 1st Shift: $20.13/hour
• 2nd Shift: $21.13/hour (includes $1.00 shift premium)

Work Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
• 1st Shift 6:30 - 7:30 AM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume)
• 2nd Shift - 6:30 - 7:30 PM until finish (shifts may vary based on work volume)
