Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is hiring for a 2nd shift Cross Dock role in North Hatfield, MA. You will operate an electric pallet jack, move pallets to trucks, and help unload cross-dock trailers to keep shipments flowing efficiently.

Responsibilities include monitoring load quality, prioritizing tasks, and adhering to safety standards while supporting daily warehouse operations in a perishable environment.

Qualifications

• Attendance and HS diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrates initiative, productivity and safety values.
• Ability to work in a 2nd shift warehouse environment.

Position Overview

Keep our communities fed. As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Job Description

• Earn $22.00 per hour
• Full Time, 2nd Shift - 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM
• Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• 95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield , MA

You will contribute by:

• Operating an electric riding pallet jack
• Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers
• Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility
• Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality
• Prioritizing work within your assigned zone
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
