Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC is seeking a Cross Dock associate for the 2nd shift to operate an electric pallet jack, load and unload pallets, and ensure smooth flow from staging to doors. The role supports perishable and general warehouse operations across our Hatfield area facilities.

You will be responsible for moving materials, monitoring load quality, prioritizing tasks, and performing additional duties as assigned. Training is provided, and benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

• Attendance, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or High School Diploma.
• Safety-focused, able to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand, lift, and move pallets and materials for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric riding pallet jack.
• Load, unload, and move pallets to doors for shipment.
• Ensure flow from staging area to the correct doors.
• Monitor pallet construction and load quality.
• Prioritize work within your zone and adapt to changing tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Overview

Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices — every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility. In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Job Description

• Earn $22.00 per hour
• Full Time, 2nd Shift - 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM
• Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• 95 North Hatfield Road, Hatfield , MA

You will contribute by:

• Operating an electric riding pallet jack
• Assisting in unloading cross dock trailers
• Ensuring the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility
• Monitoring pallet construction and ensuring load quality
• Prioritizing work within your assigned zone
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
