Warehouse Coordinator – Job Description
A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the daily flow of clinical supplies between the pharmacy and nursing departments. Functions to support pharmacy and nursing by working with technicians and clinicians to ensure timely, accurate deliveries of supplies and medication.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct patient contact to ascertain supply needs as designated by clinicians and establish a relationship with the client.
- Communicate information to appropriate personnel and document accordingly.
- Generate patient orders on system.
- Coordinate and execute shipping schedule.
- Communicate with nurse and pharmacist to ensure availability of patient supplies and confirm deliveries.
- Purchase all supplies for inventory following correct purchasing procedures.
- Source cost effective products as directed by clinicians and Option Care product contracts.
- Minimize the cost of freight of product ordered and shipped to pharmacy.
- Maintain accurate inventory and be accountable for discrepancies.
- Participate in physical inventory, implement inventory control and establish minimum order quantity amounts.
- Monitor equipment tracking and maintenance, obtain cost effective rental equipment.
- Observe legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding confidentiality of patient and proprietary information.
- Participate in assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents and equipment error/failures.
- Accurately complete QAR forms and forward them to the general manager.
- Participate in on‑call responsibilities if required.
- Accept other responsibilities and duties assigned by the general manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
No. This position does not involve hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, or other supervisory duties.
Basic Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic Qualifications & Interests
- Experience communicating verbally on phone, one‑on‑one, and in writing: emails, letters, reports to varied audiences.
- Basic PC skills (startup/shutdown computer, use mouse, run programs, save files, print documents, browse online).
- Basic email skills, internet navigation.
Preferred Qualifications & Interests
- Prior experience working in a warehouse or delivery setting.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: $16.33–$23.97 per hour, based on education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and market data.
